Goz6 - 4 x 4

Looks like #2 is what's for dinner....

on start #2, is that tundra to the S? anyways, it does look like #2 is best as it does have the most land. #3 is nice too, as it fits with our scandinavian surf and turf diet :)

Number 2 and if that IS tundra, we might have our backs covered. I can't tell from those funny graphics.

2 it is anyways, so start building us an empire. :)

Can start tonight if that's what you mean. Twenty turns served up in a couple of hours

We all thank you for that initiative :)

Roster:

Bede -> playing now
Sir Bugsy
Kaiser Berger
grahamiam
gozpel
Carlos? (reserved if he can join)

Can you please help to add the roster when you finished your turns? Then it will move in the direction it was intended to go.

Goz6

That is tundra to the south moving the worker to the feedlot confirms. Broder GrendoBede first saws the horns off a bullock to get the neat-o horns for his helmet...then settles on the spot. Looks like this Viking is in tall cotton now...silks to the NW and sugar for his coffee...start building my first longship and explain to the priests that they better get busy figuring out how to make beef jerky (pottery).

In 3650 the LS gozpel departs the fjord at Trondheim. and in 3600 finds a goody hut just east of Trondheim.

In 3500 Beowulf sets out westward on foot.

In 3350 SS gozpel and Beowulf reach the west coast simultaneously, one goes west, the other heads east

In 3300 Broder GrendoBede pulls one of the strangest pieces of citizen management he's ever seen. With pottery due in 2 and the barracks prebuild for the granary due in 1, hire two tax collectors and crank up the science rate to get pottery in 1 and the barracks in 2. And the gozpel spots a sea lane to the west....

In 3250 the tax guys go back to work in the forests with the silks and along the river, the build is set to granary due in 6 with growth to pop5 in 9. And the goz finds a tundra island to the west, safely.

I didn't mine the second cow because with the +four food from the irrigated cows we can work all the forests for two shields and not have to disturb the trolls in the trees by cutting them down for mine props.

In 3000 the crew of the gozpel meets an Egyptian warrior and there are deals to be done but I'll leave 'em for SirB. The citizens of Trondheim get steak dinners tonight after a a steady diet of wood chips so that the granary finishes before the town grows. Granary in 1 growth to five in two.

Roster:

Sir Bugsy -> UP
Kaiser Berger - > on deck
grahamiam
gozpel
Bede - on the Atkins diet
Carlos? (reserved if he can join)

Ahh, the people rejoice.

Contacts and proper management of the new civilization makes the training warriors to ask for mead and mushrroms. The shamans cookery will take some time, but forget what you heard about epilepsi and head-injuries. The great bezerker is grown out of mead and poisonous mushrooms (field-mushroom, like you find on cow-pats)

The land is good enough for 4 cities. Make the best of it.

I have it. We'll probably want to make optimal city placement, or as close as possible.

Early - I sell WC to Cleo for CB & 24G. I don’t want to sell her alphabet yet.
Trondheim: granary=>settler

Middle - The intrepid captain of the LS gozpel sails north and sights a green border
Goz6_-_Aztecs.jpg

Monty is up BW and Masonry, we have Alphabet. I’m not going to sell.
A Yankee warrior strolls into view from the south.
Goz6_-_America.jpg

Abe is up BW, Masonry, and the Wheel. No deals yet. Hopefully the warrior won’t approach undefended Trondheim.
The Yank runs off to the east.
Tronheim: settler=>settler

Late - The Egyptians and Aztecs have obtained Alphabet, so I sell it to Abe for Masonry, BW & 20G.
Found Bergen. Start a barracks.
Trondheim: Settler=>curragh

Here is the situation:
Goz6_-_2550_BC_Dot_Map.jpg

We have a settler for green dot. Pop a settler after the curragh and plant yellow dot.

We are doing good so far :) By the looks of the map we will have to ty to obtain cities No 5-8 in foreign lands, when the time comes. Therefore we need to scout Abe's territory first I think.

The dotmap is alright too. Let me remind you the importance of workers with few cities, so please build a couple after the last settler.

Roster:

Bede
Sir Bugsy -> Just played
Kaiser Berger -> UP
grahamiam -> On deck
gozpel
Carlos?

Haha, I made those rosters perfect. It's fun making KB sweat :)

You are truly evil :lol:

Two at once is not too bad, I'm just waiting for both of these to align with LK79 & 80 and SGOTM5. That could prove truly interesting :crazyeye:

I've been there, 5 games up at the same time. It's hilarious if you want to make something out of it.

First couple of games you play attention to every detail, then it slides :)

I rather take the grunts from team-mates, than wasting time on an extra gold here and there.

And btw, I'm never too harsh in my games, considering delivery times. Just do it as fast as you can, or ask for a swap. We all have stuff to do now and again. (the last thing was a team message, not to put any pressure on KB :lol:

Preturn- We look good.

T3 2430

MM Trondheim for settler and growth in 3. Settler founds Copenhagen. Our warrior meets up with Ottomans. They lack Alphabet, so they get Alpha, 168g and 2gpt for Myst and The Wheel. We actually have horses North of Bergen. They won't fall into our expanded borders, but they are easily claimable with a colony.

The LS Gozpel also finds the Maya, who are up Iron Working.

T8 2230

As I sail past the Ottoman city of Edrine, I notice it has a damaged elite spear in it, and I also noticed American warriors heading north the turn before. War perhaps?

T10 2150

Reykjavik if founded, popping the hut to give us a conscript warrior. I also notice that Edrine is now a pile of rubble. It would appear that the Turkish-American War is on.

Summary

We're getting some more workers now, and can pump out as many as we need. Trondheim is set up as a two turn worker factory right now.

Good job! We are not allergic to screenies, but I'm sure grahamian will fix that. :)

Roster:

Bede
Sir Bugsy
Kaiser Berger -> Just played
grahamiam -> UP
gozpel -> On deck
Carlos?

got it. make war, not love, right? i'll get the horses connected so we can start spitting out a few chariots after the required workers are built.

Preflight check: we got 3 workers, 2 dingys and 2 warriors (1 wandering). Down IW and HBR to Maya and Aztecs, down just IW to Egypt, even with Ottos and Yanks.
IW is doubtful

IBT: Yanks kick us out.

T1: 2110BC Dingies go, worker roads.

IBT: Trondheim worker -> worker, Egypt building Pyramids

T2: 2070BC Mayan up writing. This is why I don’t like min runs on C3C. Mine near Trondheim is finished but we don’t have the pop to work it.

IBT: Watch the Otto’s and Yanks go at it; Copenhagen barracks -> warrior
Aztecs are building the Pyramids, Egypt the Colossus

T3: 2030BC Move workers to their next job

IBT: the battle rages, Trondheim worker -> worker

T4: 1990BC Moving

Bergen warrior -> archer

T5: 1950BC LS Gozpel meets the Inca. They are up IW. Civ’s want 9gpt and 94g for HBR.

IBT: Trondheim worker -> worker; Inca are building the Oracle

T6: 1910BC Move workers
Ok, I take the dive. Buy HBR from Mayan for 8gpt and 85g. Sell it to Egypt for IW and 61g. Sell IW to Ottomans (Yanks know IW too) for 179g.
We now have 246g in the bank and make -1gpt with min research on.

IBT: Mayan’s complete Pyramids,

T7: 1870BC Workers work, dingys ding

IBT: Trondheim worker -> worker; Coppenhagen warrior -> archer

T8: 1830BC Meet the Romans. They are down Mas and Myst, but have 210g. Yummy. Sell Mas to Romans for 210g.

T9: 1790BC Ottomans up Poly but won’t part with it. Not sure I want them to have HBR anyways
Lower lux to 20%.

IBT: Trondheim worker -> barracks; Reykjavik worker -> barracks.

T10: 1750BC Move workers, dingy’s.

Notes: Each town now has 3 workers per, which is why Trondheim is now on a barracks. This can be changed back without missing a beat.

Maya up Writing, Ottomans are up Poly. We are even with everyone else except Rome, which is down Myst.

There is no one left to meet so the dingy’s have done their job, now they are just getting the lay of the map. Sorry, but they ended up crossing paths due to some unexpected turns :)

America is starting to expand our way so we may want to consider sending out a trimming party once we have a few horses.
