GOZthefirst-(Mon-PTW-1.27-First-start)

Yep, someone already researched Lit and traded it around. But Athens has been doing like 14-16 shields forever and if someone else builds it, it will be by a leader.

Actually, if everyone is building the GL, they will not switch it to the city that is building the lighthouse after persia finished, we are home free. :p

Sorry guys, I'm working on a research project, I'll get them done in a few.

Actually if you guys don't want to wait just skip me.

It's due monday. I'm about 70% done. Still have to do some charts, and then a conclusion.

Affirmative is obviously swamped by his project, so let us move on. He can have his turns when he come back.

conehead is up.

Aztecs building hanging gardens,

Turn 10(150 BC)- the pattern continues

Most of our warriors are in Thermopylae, I think we should try to get Leo's so i started a

prebuild in Athens, The persian blockcade has to be a moving wall. I think that the aztecs

should be our first target and the ex aztec land would be a good place for the FP.

And the Save SAVE

I was thinking Aztecs as well, but atm we are at war with 3 civs which easily can be more. We should try to get peace with England to start with or else we can be in a serious dogpile situation. Lizzie seem to be rich and if she wants a few coins for peace we should take it. If we have a couple of horses we could probably take the Celtisg town when they grow to 2 and then sue for peace.

When we have enough warriors (15-20) connect the iron with lots of workers, preferably in 2-3 turns...do the upgrade when its connected and pillage the same turn. Repeat building warriors :)

Who's up? Elvis?

The upgrade cost would be 90 gold per warrior so we should try to get leos to help with the cost.

Yuk beastly project, and on top of it all, I get sick. No fun!

Looking forward to your turns Elvis. :goodjob:

Dangit, I forgot how far we've gone already...so conehead is right.

But if we're getting swamped by enemies we have no choice, well perhaps starting building horsemen. I think peace with England should be high on the priority list. If they ally with Persia, we're toast :)

Yea, keep the prebuild we will have a better chance of getting leo's with it starting building now.

You are up, it's easier if people just do their turns in order.

Handy work again Elvis :)

This map was funny and my building changes from last turns seem to be alright.

Don't let that make you feel afraid of doing your things though Nick...I only thought it was wise at the time.

The best thing is to have a plan. What is ours? :)

I mean, who needs a library when the opponents are knocking on the door? Who needs marketplace, when we don't even have troops to defend it?

Stuff like that. What are your points guys? We really need a strategy now. We have lousy lands to defend, but it's ours and we defend it to death. There's only 2 luxes on our continent if I understand it right and we need more. Check who's got what, I hope Celts have another lux, then they could be a close target.

Spawn ideas and we will have a plan :)

A lot of our land is grassland. Best stuff in the game. Of course, we have a bunch of jungle and desert too. Give us time and we should become a serious adversary. I say we hold back on the military for a while. Let's finish expanding and fill in our cities. Then our core cities can start producing veteran horsemen in preparation for a Knight War against persia.

The aztecs aren't worth fighting against yet. Much of their land is crappy tundra. Then again, so is much of persia. It's really up to you guys.

Let's just build up infastructure, set some cities to building workers, and then start horsemen.

Sorry this is so late, I got caught up in some work that I had to do. I don't ahve a lot of time right now so I'm just posting a very brief turnlog. I basically kept building horsemen as a prequel to our conflict with aztecs or persia. After our warrior blockade broke the persians snapped up almost all of the land in 3 or 4 turns, but I managed to take the incense with the city of troy.

PT- Take peace with the ottos for 34 gold in our favor
1-Corinth: warrior-settler
2-Thermopylae Delphi: Horsemen-horsemen
3- Pharsalos worker-worker
argos temple-hoplite
IT- wow, lots of ai cities built in "our" land, including a spanish one up in between us and the aztecs
4-corinth: settler-horsemen
troy founded to stop the persians from getting any incense
5-Knossos temple-horse
6- delphi horse-horse
7-thermopylae: horse-horse
argos: hoplite-horse
rhodes: worker-warrior
8-corinth: horse-horse
hooked up the dyes
9-Not much
IT: Promptly upon completion of our trade route Xerses demands incense, I tell him no and he backs off
10-Workers lodge builds a worker
