Grammar/spelling you keep forgetting about?

I always forget about the the 'I' before 'E' except after 'C' rule when I am right and sometimes I confuse it the other way around when it isn't after C. It can be confusing.

Ironically, this rule is pretty much useless, as there are about as many exceptions (both "ie" after a c, and "ei" without a c) as there are words that adhere to it.

What always gets me when writing is "its" and "it's". Mainly cos you generally add 's for a possessive (eg PhroX's), so I assume you should do this when something belongs to "it"...

Also, based on the paper I'm writing, it seems that I can't spell behaviour. I think I've left out the "u" about 5 times so far. And before you ask, I'm English, so it should have a "u". :p

The unfortunate downside to reading a lot when I was younger is that there are several words that I have accidentally trained myself to mis-know. I had (have? :() a similar problem with 'mischievous', which in my head sounded something like 'mischevious'. It's really hard to correct.

I hadn't caught that one before. I do the same thing

"Rhythm" is a word I have to look up every time.

Generally I'm a pretty good speller, although my grammar could use a little work.
