Graphics Different on Laptops?

Pardon the newbie question, but when I play on my desktop, the graphics look like the ones posted here on the website. But when I play on my laptop, the jungles look like tiny green shrubs, and sometimes the forests on top of hills disappear toward the middle of the tile.

Is this normal? Thanks for your help!

Chances are that the laptop is less powerful and less graphically adept, thus displaying the terrain a bit weirdly. You can of course try to install the latest drivers, apply patches, experiment with various in-game graphics options, etc. If you really want to sort it out, please post a screenshot of the issue, add your system specs (especially graphics, but also CPU, RAM). Perhaps we can help you further.
