Hey guys,
I've been having some graphics problems with BNW recently that make the game unplayable!
So I started up Civ 5 BNW and decided to start up a new game, it started up normal but as I clicked Begin Your Journey my FPS dropped significantly and the tile graphics changed to some weird single colour flat tiles, screenshot here if you can notice how some of the tiles are not displaying properly.
My settings are still the same as before the patch and this is on DX11, all medium settings with textures set to high (tried low with no change), windowed at 1440x900.
Another problem I encountered is that if I run the game in DX11 at full screen, everything becomes jittery looking/vibrates in its place and becomes really straining for the eyes, but this issue's been the same for months now, so I'm starting to think it might be my own external monitor. I also just found out that running the game fullscreen on the few smaller resolutions that have 75Hz refresh rate seems to solve this problem, but there's no higher rates than 59 or 60Hz for all the higher-end resolutions, so I'm not sure what's going on there.
Setup - I run a Lenovo Ideapad Y570 - Specs found here http://www.cnet.com/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-y570/4505-3121_7-34642475.html with an ASUS VS248 21" external HDMI monitor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
