I have to say that the history found in the manual was much better than the game itself. i might try the game again, see if it's fixed now. Regardless, the history is very interesting and imaginative. I saw part of it on a web site long ago, but didnt realize that it was worth reading. now i know that it is.

what do u think?

I didn't like the history all that much. It was too repetivite IMO. Race A creates race B to do some dirty work, race B becomes independant, war brakes out etc.. etc...

However, the first part was ok. The sun was exploding and everyone needed to get through the wormhole, ending up in different parts of the galaxy. And the antarans vs orions was good but it all went downhill from there.

Some people would say the License Agreement found in the manual was much better than the game itself.

I would be one of those. That was the fastest I ever mastered a game and was then bored of one. (2 weeks).

I think it depends on whether you're a sci-fi buff or not. If you are then any backroung story (history) would provide both the atmosphere and scenario. For history buffs, the info would be more about fiction than science.

The history is indeed the best part of the game.

They got rid of the Mrrshans in the story, so I have nothing good to say about it.
