Sounds like Barbatos to me. Reminds me, haven't seen that guy for a coupla games now.

That is because he doens;t exist anymore.

Well, a Lich named Barbatos is a possible result of exploring the Broken Sepulcher, but it is a very rare one.

It really would be nice if the pass would do something for the main game.
Since you cannot influence the map creation without the proper mapscript (limiting FfH to that specific one) it's not possible to guarantee a high quality terrain valley on the other side of the pass.

And it was in the changelog (not ninja'ed, as Darksaber1 suggests) that Barbatos doesn't spawn anymore on map creation.
