Gun Rover & Scout Rover

[Lord Tirian]

Two light all-terrain exploration rovers, inspired by the SMAC Speeder chassis - both made for the Planetfall mod. They sport fetching team colour stripes, a bit inspired by the NASA/Star Trek colour stripes on vehicles. They have 620 (gun rover) and 547 (unity rover) polys, so nothing exorbitant. They come with their own animations as well.

In the "Alternate Roverskins", three extra textures for the gun rover are included: A green/woodlands camouflage pattern, a brown one and a red one (for fungal expeditions).

These can also be usefull as futuristic era "tanks", lack of (heavy) armor is logical - rovers use lasers, and conventional armor is useless against such weapons.
