GURPS WW2 Campaign

"I beleve we should just simply head 25 mi down the pathway." I said as I was readying my Springfield Rifle. I pull up my scoped Springfield to use as a teliscope to see what is down the pathway from the window.

You see that the houses curve around the corner in about 20 yards (no need for the telescope then!).

You also notice that there is a trail of blood leading away from the where the corpses used to be around the corner. Used to be? You recollect that they were still there when you entered the house the night before...

"I'll cover ya, Piett"
Run in a stoop to the centre of the road, and lie down, with my rifle to my eye.

You can faintly hear a crackling around the corner, but nothing is in sight.

I imediately seek cover and go into prone possition and scan the area.

Okay, I'll do a quick search of the Germans.

Sorry, I didn't make this clear enough.

CG noticed that the corpses have gone and a trail of blood is leading around the corner from where they used to be.

Larkin is still there.

Oh, I see.
Well, a quick search of Larkin, then, and take one of his dogtags.

"And what do you plan to do with the dogtags?" I asked.

You got his dogtag, you find 4 bullets for a Webley, his wedding ring and his Crucifix.

Lozzy_Ozzy said:
...and his Crucifix.
"Ill take the Crucifix." I said as I aproach the corpse and carefully take the crucifix.

I will serach the deck and put the ace on my helmet, the rest of the cards i will put in the pocket of my shirt.

"I beleve we should head up the path." I said as I put on the crucifix.

(whispered)
"Piett, why you taking a dead man's jewelry? At least I'm gonna make sure it gets to 'is wife!"
I'm gonna make a listening roll.

You here a crackling from around the corner, and a distant baby crying.

I walk up to NonCon and ask him in a posh tone that you would expect from a lord "Are you a member of the German army? As you appear to be quite the expert in the nazi Germany."

I'm GMT -6

Jack combed through the old house with a eagerness of a little boy in the toy store back in his old hometown in Iowa. He heard the explosion of yet another shell in the distance. He jumped up.
"Holy *, those Germans are puttin' up a fight. I think we'd better start moving before they come down this street."
