Hacked Leaderboards

Son of a gun! Has anybody seen those leaderboards? There are so many hacks. Domination on Deity with Germany on turn 0? Cultural victory on Deity with Spain in 47 turns on quick and huge continents? What is this? Firaxis should fix this and those players should be banned from online play and being on the leaderboards. Its hard to see who is good and who cheated, especially if a cheater makes everything look legit.

It happens on every leaderboard, they should seriously have someone screen them from time to time, at least the top 10.

Show me a leaderboard, and I'll show you a board full of hackers. Doesn't matter what the game is, it always happens. It's a shame really. I love the idea of leaderboards, and being able to compare with my friends, and the world. Too bad there are so many idiots in the world.

They should clean the leaderboards every so often, it's not hard to tell what is hacked and what is not, unless the hacker has his score look legit. Maybe make an algorithm to determine the ones that are obviously fake. Then players who own the hacked score are then banned from the leaderboards and all online play. They can still do local multiplayer and single player.

It sounds really unnecessary and it would never happen, but cheaters deserve nothing and are worth nothing. They should atleast clean the leaderboards every so often then.

Those are likely leftover testing games... should be deleted.

Hopefully you are right, but they should delete them so we can actually look at who the pros of Civ V are.
