Half my AI opponents dead to barbarians :P

One of my main wishes for Civ 5 (this is ACTUALLY not a joke, no matter how silly it may sound), is to have the fancy civ graphics & portrait select screen in the Custom Game lobby, OR the custom game settings in the normal "play now" menu..

I always have to click Play Now, click next until i hit the civs, check out how they look and what bonuses they give, decide who i want to play as, THEN go BACK all the way, into Custom Game, and remember the friggin name of the leader i just decided to play as.
Sigh, life is so hard!! :(:(
 
The way I see it, barbarians and animals should be made completely incapable of destroying a civs capital.
They must be made completely incapable of destroying ANY city! As it is now, left as a heirloom from Sid the Cheesy, a single tiger crawls into unguarded city with population (if we shall believe those Siddy numbers) about one million and in a single night of carnage slaughters them all THEN demolishes all the buildings into smouldering rubble and pisses on top of it, yawns, receives level-up and trots away to do some more planetary devastation. Either we assume that tigers are roaming in packs of thousands or they are tiger demi-gods. I think that small reduction in stored food/population/gold/buildings - scaling from animals to barbs - shall sanely suffice. As it was in earlier Civs and Alpha.

At least sort the leaders list in custom game pop-up by alphabet and make a single number field for quantity of opponents instead of clicking on the slots 20 times...

No. They already received large maluses to city attack. (Only talking about the animals here)

No. It is sorted by civilization. Now, we need to reorder it so the civilizations are in alphabetical order, but that's it.

And we cannot do what you propose. That is handled in the exe, which we are unable to modify.
