i myself play halo 2.

and there is a a halo3 coming out next year however there is another game coming out as well

HALO WARS!!!!

it is a real time strategy game, not a first person shooter like previous halos.

it looks amazingly good.

agreed, halo 2 sucked compared to the first one, its jsut overrated over hyped generic FPS with a horrible story. I own both of them btw. So don't say I'm a hater.

did you guys look at the trailer for halo wars though?

halo 2 is better then halo 1 for a whole bunch of reasons. graphically and the actual gameplay itself. i could explain more in detail however this thread is about halo wars, the game.

what are you opinions on the trailer and/or game?

I like the look of it, its one of my favorite game genres (AoE III and Empire at War for example) and I hope you can play as the alien things with the banshees. I don't like trailers though, as they rarely show in-game footage. (Unless that was in game footage! )

Doubt it. Its an RTS.

Instead of one Spartan unit, commanding armies of marines against the Covenant in Scorpians, Warthogs and Pelicans should be fantastic! Playing the Covenant would be amazing too.

halo 3 isnt an RTS though. Have you seen some graphics for first person shooter already out. Look at Ghost recon game for 360. The graphics look good, even during gameplay.

I expect halo 3 graphics to look better then halo wars, as seeing halo wars is an RTS.

yea i love the halo multiplayer online. very fun and can be quite intense.
