If you capture an AI city that has the hanging gardens, do you get the benefit in all your currents cities? Seams like I did after catpuring the wonder arround 1800 AD.

AFAIK that's the case with all the wonders. You always get the benefits of them after capturing.

You don't get the +1 pop. That is a one time benefit for only the cities that currently exist for the civ that builds it. But you do get the +1 health.

I never thought about that... if you get stonehenge you get monuments in all of your old cities as well as new, I wonder why the hanging gardens is a one time benefit.

it would be quite strange if two civs kept recapturing and losing the hanging gardens, then. I guess you could make so one pop is subtracted when you lose it...

that's what I figured happened, you'd lose a pop point. I never build it really unless I am gunning for an engineer city. and then I never lose it.

That would be a bit wired. Imagine losing 1 pop in each of your 20 citys just because someone captured a 4000 yeras old wonder from you. :crazyeye:

I think it's fine as it's now, I mean you also can't get rocketry for free because you captured a city with the oracle in it.

I always thought when you got the HG you get 1 pop and i health to all cities. Subsequent cities do not get the extra pop which makes sense, but I guess they still get the +1 health. In that case it makes sense what I am seeing, thanks all.
