Well, 2001 didn't go exactly as Aurthur C. Clarke predicted. I'm still not sure if this is a good or bad thing... nothing to bother the human race so we can continue our petty power struggles and kill each other off indiscrimately.
However, this year was a waking call for the world and the end of passive observation and complaining of foreign events by America. Again, I'm not sure if this is a curse or blessing. I can only hope that 2002 will end up being better than this horrible year. 11:40 PM CST 2001
