Harvestable Resources

Nice. I've seen your dungeon mod. Looks fascinating. Seems like more of a D&D adventuring party mod.

How do civs interact in this mod?

And I think this is probably the point where we agree to disagree. I tend to prefer the freedom-oriented game.

Yay! We had a reasonable discussion and eventually discovered the basic (and reasonable) assumption/premise difference that led to our disagreement. Yay! :)

Ashen Veil / Reagents dependency. Maybe the simple fact that we're debating the implementation of a new mechanic to try and stabilize it is a clue that the dependency itself is flawed...

On that subject I'll mention that with some map scripts there often didn't seem to be enough Reagents (sometimes none) and with others it's rare but IMO not _too_ rare. Wasn't .31 supposed to fix that? Maybe it helped but didn't completely. (It's been awhile since I've seen one of the map-types that gave us problems.) Anyway, though I do like scarcity I agree there's likely an issue with Reagents.

My favored solution (if anything is done) is just 1 extra chance: A Reagents granting World Wonder. But I'm sure you could have predicted that, given my challenge/freedom orientation. :)

On that subject, who's up for a Morrowind vs. Oblivion slag-fest? ;)

Morrowind was better in it's time :p

ANYWAY, :)

I've posted a modular mod that adds a Reagents-providing wonder.

So, one extra chance at Reagents.

I think marks a first in the history of teh internets! I think your bold resolution to commemorate it with a pointless flamewar is right on the money:

omg oblivion is the sux0rz!!!!!!!!!1111!LOL

(first one to resort to rickrolling automatically loses)

Man, Morrowind is great, isn't it! I'm playing Morrowind now, I never realized from lists and discussion forums, but it ROCKS!! I suspect that Oblivion will also be terrific.

Best wishes,

You haven't tried Oblivion? You should. Apart from graphics, the game isn't really better or worse than Morrowind. It's just different. Some plus points, some bad points, depending on your opinion.

One thing I do miss is the dark elves that sounded like chain smokers lol :p (I guess that's what volcanic ash does to you. The cyrodil dark elves sound like panzies!) :)

Sorry for extending a discussion about another game here guys

I'll try to behave next time :mischief:

Al

Alzara,

I AM going to play Oblivion, I thought I would do things sequentially and play Morrowind first.

However, I also play this game called FfHII....

Best wishes,

Breunor

Hehe yeah FfH really drains one's time... in a good way :)
