Has anyone played Chess Titans?

I have windows xp and I understand chess titans is available only on vista. I have not seen it but a cousin of mine loves it. He says it comes with the computer.

How does it compare to Chessmaster 9000? (which I have.)

If Chess Titans is so great, would it be worth it to get a cheap Windows vista laptop so I could play it? Please advise.

I was able to beat it in the hardest mode. And I'm roughly a 1600-1750 player.

I have only played Titans a handful of times on average difficulty on my laptop. I don't see why you would want to switch from Chessmaster to Titans. There is nothing in Titans you don't get with Chessmaster so far as I can see.

Absolutely not. It doesn't even deserve to be compared to the almighty Chessmaster. All Chess Titans is is a weak engine and a simple UI.
