I really don't know what else could be the problem. As I said, I moved the files in, but it crashed all the same.

Alright. First I'll try and go threw this with you. I'm sure we can solve this if we work toghether. I'll give you some directions

1. Go into your civ3 art foldier, and from there, go into your tech chooser foldier. Inside there, go into the icons foldier. Locate the chivalry icon.

2. Tell me EXACTLY what your chivarly icon is named.

I have to say I did not have the latest Conquests patch installed. I installed it, but when I tried to check to see if that did anything, it crashed again. Second, my Chivalry file names are "09-Chivalry2-large" and "09-Chivalry2-small."

Hmmm...you did move the icons back didn't you? Hmmm. Make sure you have EVERYTHING installed to do with the mod. Including the Sioux leaderhead.

and I do believe I have all of the files on the Sioux in their correct spots, but I'm going to check just to be certain.

Alright, once your sure everything is in place, go into the game and run the mod. If you get any errors, post a screenshot if you can.

I know, I have to fix the civilipedia, it has some stuff I wrote that is no longer releviant.

The Pioneer is the Americans advantage, makes the US a tough opponent, and a metioric riser, just as in RL.

I'm glad you like it so far Greywolfe. I may upload another patch soon, which will include a new biq and two new units, my Incan cut and paste stuff. Maybe we could play multiplayer Heast of Destiny toghether?

well i dont have a problem with the pioneer its self i loved it. i think the problem is that the other civs dont have settler to start with. the game i just played by 1 AD i had settled a little over half the continet and the other civs were still at one city and hadnt gotten irrigation yet. dont know why they werent researching it but it was to easy i just blew them all away with numbers at that point.



id like playing multiplayer Heart of Destiny ive always wanted to see how it would be against other people. im starting a new game tonight at a higher level to see if its any more challenging. im also working on a mod of my own but since im new at it its taking me awhile to figure it all out lol.

All I did was copy the Chivalry files from the vanilla Civ3 file, remove the 2 that was in the file name, inserted them into the tech chooser folder for HoD, and it worked.

hmm...that error could prove problematic in the future..I'm glad you solved it though

Greywolfe: Ok, I'll put toghether the patch shortly. I just got Poser 6, so when I figure out how to use it, I will attempt to make exclusive content for the mod, as in "real" versions of what I've already done via the cut and paste method.

Just as construction on the Leaning Tower of Pisa was completed an error box popped up informing me this:

File not Found

"Art\Wonder Splash\Pisa Splash"

I looked in the file for this, and it showed that it was there.

but whenever I try to take a screen shot (through using either ALT+PRINT SCREEN or just PRINT SCREEN as Windows has told me to), all the mouse does is flicker.

Press the print screen button, then exit the game. Then load a paint pragram like windows paint, and paste.

you could just give everyone the settler at the start without having to research tech to get it america could still get the pioneer which will let them spread out faster

that would be cool. i had pioneer before the settler in the last game. ill tell you i have a new respect for the modders now that im trying to make one lol it aint all easy thats for sure.

It took me a year and a half to get where I am now lol, dont expect to get there overnight Greywolf. Theres quite a few tutorials on modding, but they only cover the basics like adding units and such.

Just throw any ideas you have my way and I'll do my best to implement them my friend.
