thats sad:mischief: i bet she was disappointed when she found out that you played:lol:

Several of my friends from HS played, but I think I am one of the few who still do... but at least they know what I am talking about. My wife knows about and at least pretends to listen when I talk about the current game I am playing.

Besides that select group, I haven't met many who know anything about it.

2002: Schoolmate introduced civ to me. He's not exactly an addicted civver but he plays occasionally at that time.

2003: Introduced civ to my classmate. Lent him my CD for 10 months.

2004: In pre-U college, a chance remark led to the discovery that my classmate plays civ (irregularly).

2007: My CD was broken, and I talked about it with another friend who used to be my pre-U classmate as well. It so happens he have the CD, but doesn't really play regularly.

Total of 4 in 6 years :crazyeye:

I have my 2 friends who introduced me to Civ2 all those years ago, and a couple more. I'm the only one who *really* plays it, though. The others just dip in and out every couple of months.

Same here, two friends that were Civ 2 irregulars lent me their game. I been hooked ever since, but never met one other real "addict". I introduced it to several friends and one I gave ptw which he apparently plays occasionally. Several friends have played one of the civs...at a friend's house.

a couple of people I vaguely know have civ IV, but for civiii there's just my brother, who could use a few tips.
