Hi guys

I am having a bit of a problem here.

I use Gimp to work on the pcx files I use to import/export in unit creation. But suddenly (possibly after the Windows 10 upgrade), the pcx files that I have made with Gimp, are no longer working in Flicster.

I cannot view the animations, and when I import them, Flicster crashes.

Have anyone else experienced this?

Oh, and can anyone try the attached pcx file in Flicster, or render it usable?

Seems like the grid lines has the wrong index number. Gimp does this - when saving the file it picks the first available indexcolor in the colormap and assign it to the respective color. Since you have the smoke- and shadow-indexes all the same red color as index 254, the wrong index will be used. This might be why Flicster crashes. Try to use green (00ff00) as index 254 and re-color the gridlines green to see if that helps. When I use Gimp I usually tell Flicster to export the pcx-files without gridlines (border), since this seems to cause fewer problems.

Cimbri... It is the Frame Lines colored Red that caused the problem. Not because they are Red but because the First Red in your Palette was applied to them and they are suppose to be Transparent with Slot #254.

I changed #254 on your Palette to Green then Flood Filled the Frame Lines with that Green so it is correctly indexed now. I included an FXM file so you can open it in Flicster.
You can adjust the Flc Speed.

Cool, thanks guys! :)

There is always a simple explanation, and this was one that I missed. :)

Thanks for helping me out.
