Help fixing a friend's crash (Jdude's 9-25-3 modpack)

Hi, I'm not sure if there's a different thread I should be posting this under but anyway here it goes. Me and some friends downloaded a modpack by Jdude, his 9-25-3 mp modpack. I have successfully been able to play it with a group of 3 other friends. However, when we start the mp game one friend crashes to desktop. After some messing around it now loads him into the game but as soon as we pass the turn he crashes again. We both have the modpack installed correctly but it still seems like there is a mod mismatch issue. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Well if it works alright without him then I would assume he is running either a different version of the game (not the modpack, but the core files), or it's been corrupted somehow (verify integrity and/or reinstall). Doubt it can be anything else except ludicrously bad internet connection.
