Help - How to Fix Memory Usage in Laptop?

hi

I have no problems on desktop Intel Pentium 3 dual core, 3 GB RAM, Windows 7

but when I have laptop Intel Pentium 5 dual core, 4 GB RAM, Windows 8
Civ 4, Warload, BTS cant have enough memory, how to fix this?
