Ok i've been trying to get this game off my computer, then unfortunatly me being computer ******** starting messing around with things and now they are probly worse then they were. I keep getting this message when I try to uninstall. "Error Loading C:/Progra~1\COMMON~1\PROFES~1\RunTime\11\00\Intel32\ctor.dll The specified module could not be found"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

:hmm: Looks like there's some problem with InstallShield. I'll assume that you're trying to uninstall Civ4 original. The instructions below should accomplish this.

Delete the "C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games" folder (assuming that where you installed it), delete the "C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4" folder if it is still there.

Go into the registry (Start->Run->regedit) and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software. If this is the only game you have from Firaxis delete the key called "Firaxis Games" otherwise delete any sub keys of Firaxis Games" starting with "Sid Meier's Civilization 4". Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and delete the following keys {4377F918-E6C9-4ECA-A7F5-754B310B7ED8}, {CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8}, {3E4B349F-10B5-4586-9D99-489A90A8B228} and {32E4F0D2-C135-475E-A841-1D59A0D22989}. Not all of them may exist.

Also delete the following folder if it exists:
"C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8}"

NB. The InstallShield folder is hidden by default. You will need to configure Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders.

Hope that helps.

This seems to be the best way to accomplish uninstall. Be thorough and patient when trying this.

Thanks for the reply. I did all of this-

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall and delete the following keys {4377F918-E6C9-4ECA-A7F5-754B310B7ED8}, {CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8}, {3E4B349F-10B5-4586-9D99-489A90A8B228} and {32E4F0D2-C135-475E-A841-1D59A0D22989}. Not all of them may exist.

BTW i did not see any of those keys there. And I can not see this folder -
"C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8

And I checked the show hidden files and folders button. What should I do now?
EDIT- I deleted every trace of civ4 on my comp and tried to install it again but it says it detects a later version of civ on my comp. I dunno what to do now.

When u get to the uninstall file - instead of looking for those file numbers - try right clicking on uninstall, click "find" and type in "civ". A list of civ files should appear and you can delete them from there. I am hesitant to offer too much advice to a Vista user because I'm not familiar with it. Also I'm a bit of a newbie with this stuff but I can really relete to your frustration
