Hey everyone,
when updating the thread and download pages for the new release I unfortunately had to remove all screenshots showcasing the mod. Some of them were already outdated with 1.17, but now that 1.18 has changed the map I didn't think it makes sense to use screenshots featuring the old map anymore.
It would help a lot if people here could help collecting new screenshots to use for a mod gallery. Either by purposely running the game trying to generate them, or by capturing things encountered during gameplay that is fitting.
What should be covered? I would like to capture two things: 1) examples of how historical events are (near) accurately reproduced in the game, and 2) examples of specific game mechanics. An instance of (1) could be for example the Mongol conquest of China or Persia, and an instance of (2) could be for example the Congress screen or the trading company conqueror event.
The emphasis should definitely be on the first kind though. Think of it as the opposite of the "omg look what happened" thread - instead of capturing things that are rare and out there we are capturing situations that show the mod working as intended. It is fine if these are things that not always occur, the point of a gallery like this is to show the mod from its best side.
Examples I could think of (and that were covered by previous screenshots):
Any help on this is appreciated a lot. Thanks!

Examples I could think of (and that were covered by previous screenshots):
- Bronze Age middle east
- Greek conquests
- Roman Empire in the East
- Byzantium and Arabia in the Middle East
- Medieval Europe
- Medieval India
- Mongols in China or Persia
- South East Asia with all civilizations present
- Precolumbian Mesoamerica
- Spanish conquerors arriving in Mesoamerica/Peru
- Moors, Spain, Portugal during the reconquista
- Ottoman Empire and Iran
- Russian expansion into Siberia
- European trading company conquerors
- Early modern India between Europeans, Mughals, India
- America spawning in North America with European colonies
- anything else interesting you can come up with or encounter
- UI should be disabled entirely (Alt+I or Ctrl+I, not sure which), unless the purpose is to show a UI element like a popup window
- Varietas Delectat enabled: if you are not using it, please send me a save instead and I will open it to create the screenshot
- Not too far zoomed out: there may be the intention to show as much as possible but it should also feel like actual gameplay
Any help on this is appreciated a lot. Thanks!
