I am having problems doing anything to Civ IV Colonization, to include uninstalling, running, or anything. Problems started with the Patch. I forgot I had the unofficial patch when I installed, and it crashed and yelled at me when installing. So I tried to Uninstall the "proper" way (I am on Vista 64-bit), and it yelled at me. Then, I manually uninstalled by removing all "Colonization" entries from the registry and deleting the Colonization folder in Program Files (x64) where the game was installed. Now, when I do Autorun, it still gives the option to "Play", and when I go to the DVD drive and manually run setup.exe it yells at me.
So, what do I mean by "it yells at me"? In all three instances, I get the following error:
* String IDS_UNINSTALL_GAME_RUNNING
(Hey, nevermind I just tried doing it again, and it actually ran the UNINSTALL when I clicked on Setup! Messed up! Anyway, now it is working fine, so if anyone else has this problem just wait awhile and try uninstalling again.)
