Help with a component

I apologize ahead of time if this is the incorrect spot to post this, I thought of searching the forum but I have no idea of the name of the mod component.
Would someone be so kind as to post or email me an explaination of what the little icons on top of the unit window stand for or do? I mean the little icons of a house, tank, car green flag, red flag, red cross and green cross, those little icons.
