Help with own map needed

Hallo,

after trying for 5 hours and reading serveral guides i ran out of ideas.

I'm just trying to play a self-created map with pre-defined starting locations. What have I done so far?

-> Created the map with the Worldbuilder and placed it in the "maps" folder
-> Started ModBuddy and created a new Map Pack, adding the map to the map pack
-> Building the map-pack mod with the ModBuddy
-> After Starting Civ5 the mod is found
-> I activated the mod
-> Started singleplayer game, chose my map as map-type, went back and activated the "scenario" checkbox
-> Result: The correct map is loaded, but the starting postions are ignored.

What have I done wrong?

At a guess, what you haven't done is

• Activate mod
• NEXT
• Single player
• etc
