I'm new to mods, so if I download this, it will only be applied to the scenario right? Does that work for other mods too? Please clarify soon, I'm impatient

Yes, this will only appear in the scenarios, if you install it correclty of course:I'm new to mods, so if I download this, it will only be applied to the scenario right? Does that work for other mods too? Please clarify soon, I'm impatient![]()
And yes this works for other mods unless they are vanilla mods. IIRC back in those days mods were different. But there are very few vanilla mods anyway. Most mods you will find will be conquests mods.Instalation:
Unzip the file into your "Civ3\Conquests\Scenarios" folder. The mod won't work if you throw it anywhere else.
I tested the links - clicked on download at that site - waited 5 minutes in queue and then the download started. I think the problem is on your end. Do you have java script / cookies / stuff (?) enabled for your browser ? I think that site uses those things for the download. So I have tried to download it from that site that your post links to but it just won't download. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or something else I need to do. Thanks in advance.
Is your conquests broken ?I've got Conquests now, but sadly it's broken so I still can't use this.![]()

Is your conquests broken ?
That's gotta be one of the wierdest problems i've heard.Aye everything in the preferences is set to unchecked and won't change. :?
That's gotta be one of the wierdest problems i've heard. No idea what would be wrong with it.
I know.![]()
Just on the off chance, run disk maintenance and defrag. You may have to re-install C3C and and the mod. Good luck, Heretic's Mod is worth it.
Alas, I bought a digital copy and my mom just had to find out what would happen if she registered it. So no disc. >.<
(For some stupid reason they feel that if you register your game you wouldn't want a hard copy.)
Did you purchase from Firaxis, or a third party vendor? Have you looked into getting a fresh download?
Purchased through Gamestop. I've still got the installer somewhere on my network, but I need to go through my parents to get to it and they've been busy. So I can neither repair my current install or put in a new one. The only problem with the installer they use is that it only works 3 times. (Stupid idea)
I would really rather not shell out another 30 bucks. :/
I see. Well next time, assuming you have a DVD burner, burn a copy to disc. If you must buy a digital copy, buy from the manufacturer. While my experience has been with Mac games, it does include better customer service than apparently you got from a third party. For something like C3C spring for the DVD and fancy packaging, it'll save you hassle and currency in the long run. Again, I wish you luck.
