I never keep the trackings, just delete them. As for a second pm, I don't want to confuse the issue and clutter up his inbox more. I figure this he will see. Heck, the pm may have been lost or accidentally deleted for all I know. I did send it before Thanksgiving which is why I was wondering.
That may be the issue there.
They don't count towards your PM total, so deleting them early (or not using them) doesn't have any benefit.

From what I remember, message trackings have no affect on your PM quota in any way. Only sent and received massages do.
But, my style doesn't give me a % used, so I'm not 100% sure it doesn't show in that field.
