Hey old modding master how are you doing on RoM3.0?

Long time no hear from you. You still breathing and kicking?

JosEPh

Don't expect much. I would be surprised to see a RoM 3.0. Maybe I'll be surprised. Honestly, it's a chore for me to mod as well these days.

Well since zap didn't respond,I'd say RoM3.0 is gonna be unfinished.

Thank you zappara for the last 3+ years. :respect:

I'm still working on it! I just don't have the luxury of time to spend 100+ hours per week for modding anymore due to changes in my life - I'll mod on much slower speed these days so that's why it's taking so long.

Very Glad To Hear That!

Life does change and we have to roll with the punches.

I figured you were caught up in the CiV rage. I'm not. I'll be playingBtS RoM CIV IV for sometime yet. Steam will not be allowed on my computer. And until CiV is put out without Steam I won't be playing it.

Afforess got RoM1.03 updated for me. It now has Jungle Camp, Vincentz Industry ModMod and your Road updates (cart paths etc.). I'm pleased with it. I actually liked your early Civics better than the later ones.

Have you D/L'd the RoM1.03 Extended? I think you'd like the additions. And it's playable on older PIV computers and low end machines.

Those were Fun days zappara, back when RoM 1.0 and the 1.03 patch came out. I'm glad I was here to participate.

Thank you so Much.

Your Fan and long time supporter,
JosEPh :)

Ahh good thing Zappa showed a sign of life...rumor has it he was abducted by aliens. There is hope for ROM 3.0 after all!

Resistance is futile! Prepare to be assimilated! :borg: (though I think real aliens would be much more frightening than some wimp Borgs...). Edit: this reminds me that Civ 5 seems to have potential for my other modding project... ;)

Anyway.. this fall is going to be stressing for me due to increased workload - don't know how I got into this: working as system admin of two sites (about 500 computers), got to teach stuff to teachers (they ask way too many questions), being ever helpful helpdesk guy, attending all kinds of meetings that require IT knowledge, testing the upgrade to Win 7 environment, solving all kinds of computer/cellphone/network problems on daily basis... and all this is just part of my job (there's so many tasks that I've lost count)

After getting home from all that mayhem, I just want to rest my brains for a bit (until next morning) hence the reason why I've had to reduce the modding speed...

Even if you never get to mod again you did a Spectacular job with RoM. :D

But you will Always be able to look back and say, "I Did That!" and be Proud of your efforts.

For over 3 years you made my Leisure time more FUN! Thank you!

JosEPh.

You know zap you could always ask for help with modding too. No reason someone else can't build the tech tree while you are trying to mod a new concept in LUA/SDK or whatever. There are several people on these forums who have been beta testing your mods since day one. I haven't but I read your forums all the time. You can ask for help . I can even do simple XML modding as i've built my own tech tree before, added buildings, added units, etc.
