Hi Everyone!

The pleasure is ours. Last year I installed Civ IV and found out how much I enjoyed it compared to the latest Civ iterations. I love how your game focuses in the things I really enjoy in 4X games. I wish you all the best!

Hi Soren, indeed it's great you are here with us in order to discuss and maybe even improve the game due to our feed-back. :)

Do you consider to add Civfanatics as a major "information channel"? Reddit is probably fine for those eager to use it.
Personally, I like to focus my attention on as few as possible forums and having all information (about 'Civ' AND 'Old World') here at my finger tips would be just awesome!
I am especially speaking about information and change-logs of new updates.

If not possible (due to work overload), a simple link to a centralized website site (without the need of a separate registration) might work just fine as well.

Just wanted to say that it's an honor to have a sub-forum here at Civfanatics, so thanks for creating it. Looking forward to your input over the next year-plus of Early Access!

Always a pleasure Soren :)

My early one sentence summary of the game: A turn based RTS game where zerging is encouraged (think Starcraft 2 with turns) :)

Welcome @Soren Johnson, really glad to see you here, and excited about your new game. I normally don't buy Early Access games, and I've never used the Epic Games store before. Old World is just too intriguing to resist for me though. I'm very happy with my purchase so far, as it's already a lot of fun to play. :-)

Hi Mister Johnson, I am glad to see you are present here and ready to collect our input.

Old World is very promising though I would appreciate less micromanagement and a lesser amount of units to produce in order to wage war. I often find that less is actually more.

There are things I am not very found of, like placing buildings on the map, but the game has some brilliant features, like events, varied building resources, dynasty management and specialists, that are very pleasant.

The dynamic is really different from many 4X, it requires some practice. The game still need some balancing work, but it is what early accesses are made for.

Hi Soren,
what you and your team achieved is already pretty amazing. It's pretty cool to see some new ideas in the 4x genre well executed.Looking forward to provide some feedback every now and then.
