Hi,
I'm writing this post on behalf of Sebastian Oktaba, a computer reviewer from the well-known computer portal purepc.pl in Poland. As some of you already know, turn time gets longer as the game progresses, especially on largest maps with a lot of AI players. Sebastian tested Civilization game series in the past, but in terms of frame rate or save loading time. I gave him the idea of testing turn time and this time he will do it on various Intel and AMD processors. Currently not many such reviews can be found on the Internet. We already know that there is build-in AI benchmark for this in this game, but we are looking for a very demanding save that will demand even more from processors counting power. If you have such save and can share it with us, then please do it. By doing this, you will help people choose the right processor for this and some other similar games, even such as older Civilization games, which still have nice fan base with tens of thousands players playing them every day. If your save will be used, then your name will be mentioned in the reviews. And in case if you don't know, if your save is very demanding or you don't have time to check it by yourself, then also please share it with us, so Sebastian will compare them with AI benchmark, but the requirements are:
- Civilization VII save without any DLC
- largest map size
- the maximum number of AI players, or at least many of them
- Deity level of difficulty, or at least Immortal or Sovereign
- AI players must be well developed, so with the player they should occupy at least 85% of the map, so it means that the save must be hundreds of turns old
Thank you
