@General: I should have guessed that, what with how you're into the old Norse religious stuff.... It also makes sense that the Warhammer Chaos daemon lord of bloody murder, Khorne (Blood for the Blood god! Skulls for the Skull Throne!), would have a reference to Viking sagas: After all, the Hordes of Chaos are based on the worst aspects of the Norse, Mongols and Huns....

The Elf Mage looks great! I'll wack that straight in my mod when I get home tonight. Just what I wanted. All these units are looking really good. Can't wait to see what else you produce. My mod already had many of your nice female units as I'm trying to have male and female versions of as many of the hero units as I can.

Actually, it's Kinboat's Lightning, which has been used by others for C&P spell effects in the past....

Someone once said that virtually every mod in these forums will likely owe a lot to Kinboat, and he was right... Kinboat's tutorials are what gave me the info I needed to get in to making units with Poser, and his Paper Doll figures are the most-used figures for making Civ III units (most of my male units use the Paper Doll man, and I've used a number of his props for my other units).

Yes, I know... Tolkien even swiped the names of all his dwarves from the Dvergetal.... What I was referring to was the faction itself... Just about all of Warhammer Fantasy Battles' human factions are based on real-life civs... I.e. the Chaos tribes known as "Norsca" are based on Scandinavia, The Ungols (another Chaos tribe) = The Mongols, Kislev = Russia, The Empire = Germany, Bretonia = France, Tilea = Italy, Estalia = Spain, etc...

Well, You'll see eventually, but let's just say that I've had to come up with some sword & Shield animations for a certain Final Fantasy mod king unit that I'm going to be immediately recycling into at least two more units, one of which is related to a request I recently made to Tom2050.

Really? Someone's making a Soul Calibur mod? Seriously, though, I'm just making/requesting these units for my modded version of the Playground mod, although I may end up making a "Marvel vs Capcom vs Square-Enix" mod based on the Final Fantasy mod, and I'm also planning on including the Soul Calibur ladies as easter-egg units in the Final Fantasy mod....

Anyways, I've added a new, improved version of my Girl Warrior to the first post.

I just added another unit to the lineup: A girl Samurai for my own (private) version of the Playground Mod... Basically the inspiration for her was basically "Sailor Moon meets the 'Bride' from Kill Bill"

Anyways, if I DO make Utena, she most certainly will NOT transform into a car.... That is beyond even MY current transformation capabilities....

....Also, I'm going to be getting away from these re-hashes and back into Final Fantasy units, starting with Re-makes of some old units of mine that I've never been really satisfied with....

Thanks! I took my time to make sure of it.

Edit: Blumofia, when I get done with what I'm going to be doing, I COULD easily zip everything up into one, easy-to apply patch for the Playground mod (the only thing that will change will be the unit graphics and a slightly altered team color for the Girls... Basically I modded the palette so that it would be more of a true, "Princess Peach" pink than the hot-pink/magenta that the default Civ III color is for some reason).
