i'm thinking beeline writing then code of laws for some mad scientist production. or is this start way too easy looking if you go that route?

I just started messing around with Archipelago maps a few days ago. Seafood resources on those maps are sick.

1st of all ty, 2nd its archipelago ofc you are isolated =P.

i thought archipelago usually had 2-3 civs per island and if you were alone you could expand via sailing? oh and huts, random events, and vassals are off. barbs may as well be off though

nop archipelago is a bunch of small islands (with some a lil bigger) with some water betwen them

Well you are usually alone on your isle, but there is someone you can meet just by traveling the coastal areas betwen isles

I played it to 1AD so far

Made a big mistake delaying techs and not whipping enough, ended up working some unimproved tiles for a considerable time as a result. Production is very poor and health resources scarce, as a result going for Caste too early is just going to make things harder. The Great Lighthouse (4 pop whipped ) and whipping like a madman are whats getting me through this so far.
