Hinge Of Fate Game - Edelweiss

Berlin June 42

Adolf Hitler has been silent since the disaster at Tula there is a hush over the whole country as the German people start to doubt that Germany can win the war.

There is also great concern on the part of the German High Command as they vastly underestimated Russia's ability to strike back. A new plan of advance against Russia will have to be undertaken to move the war forward again.

The Great Soviet Union was able to arrange far less than Germany

Citizens are preparing for the worst as Minor Axis troops are getting closer to Stalingrad and Leningrad is being surrounded by Nazi armies. Rumors of reinforcements are being told... but they might be empty hearsay.

Technical note: Sully was going to gift Plymouth to the U.S. this turn, but it didn't come through. Any thoughts on that, Eric?

Yes,
I cleared out Plymouth to send it to E via Diplomacy screen. At the end of my turn when I went to do so all the English cities were grey and Plymouth wasn't available to select? I thought perhaps I had sent it to E on the previous turn. But when E went to load the save from AB there was no city to accept???

I'd like to ask that the Axis not take advantage of this situation on their next turn. When it gets back to me I will open up the save and see if Plymouth is visible on the diplomacy screen to send to him.

Thanks!

Never heard of anything like that. Do you mean just Plymouth was not available to select or none of the English cities were select-able? I opened up my last turn
again and I was able to offer cities to Germany and Italy.
There is no need to clean out the city before you send the offer, you can do
it after, as long as it is empty by the end of your turn.

Plymouth wasn't on the list of cities on the diplomacy screen? I'll try it again on my next turn and take a screenshot if it isn't there.

We can postpone "Operation Sea Lion" if we have to:D

Someone asked about the possibility of parachute units picking up
supply units such as convoy supplies, oil or iron ore and transporting them
on air transports. This is not permitted, supply units must go by sea.

okie dokie and should be stated in the House Rules for future reference and level of importance.

ok well then for the sake of expediency I will play it once it hits the 48 hour mark. I want to give CH every chance to do the turn. That is only fair to him under the rules.
