Greetings, everyone:)
I can't decide which version to buy, limited or regular.
Is limited edition worth of buying?
Help!:)
Thanks:)

I'll probably buy regular version, since it will be out before the SE. In SE you'll get a nice box with a making-of video CD. It don't think it's really worth it.

Same here.
I never got into that collecting thingy. I sell nearly all of the games I finished. The only cool thing about the collectors edition is the tech tree!

And I'm sure i can find the tech tree someplace else

The tech tree's already here on CivFanatics! And I'm sure it'll be a matter of days before all the LE stuff is here, too. We got that pre-order video pretty quickly, didn't we?

I'm going to order it, prob. Regular Edition. Although I can't decide whether to buy it for Windows and run it on VirtualPC or wait until the Mac version comes out, which should run more quickly and smoothly. Help me, anyone!

Definitely buy the Collector Edition! It's only $10 more and you will get all those goodies. The poster (tech tree, units, terrain specs) in the limited edition is most likely more durable than the one in regular edition.

I have preordered The Limited Edition Tin and of course it is worth the extra money, come on, can you see it? Look at these great forums about Civ 3. The people are looking so much forward to have the game, and then they want to spare a little money... :)

No, thats the point:)
Everyone makes his own choice in life (Civ) and seeks his own truth...

I have already ordered Civ 3 about a month ago, so I think I would get the regular one. It was £30 from Gameplay.com

Are they releasing the Collector's Edition in the UK?

If you actually go to a store to pre-order CIV III, there is a box that comes with that movie.

Does anyone know if there is suppose to be different pre-order boxes for the regular and the limited editions?? There didn't seem to be which might lead to some confusion when I go to try to pick up my copy :(
