Hi Mallow. Haven't seen this thread until now. I don't know how to delete my Babylon DLC, but I will definitely do it if someone would be so nice to explain how in this thread.

You have to move the directories DLC_02, 03, 04 and Deluxe from the DLC directory. For me the path is c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization\assests\DLC. I had to move two dirs up from that path to hide them. Every time there's a new patch, you have to move them again.

This is right. But remember it is OK to have the DLC installed, just not to use them in a game. If you are going to use random opponents, then moving the directories as Mallow says (not deleting them) is the way to go.

Nice! I'm assuming that I can move them back for casual play, then move them again for HOF games.

After a while away from the game, I just submitted my first Civ V game for the HOF. It was a lousy game, had no idea what I was doing. But it was my first Prince and first Spacerace/Science win. I'm submitting it mostly to see if I understand the new process.

I didn't have Babylon removed from the folder, but it didn't show up in the game, so I guess thats alright.

I'm not quite sure I understand the new ranking system, but don't worry about it, I'll read some posts and catch up :)

Anywhere I can find how the Scores are being calculated? (the second criteria after number of turns)

Thank you

Go to victory conditions, and click score, and you'll see a breakdown of your current score, with x points from cities, land, wonders, etc.

I thought there's a different score system because what I'm seeing there is a score of a few hundreds maybe and in HoF the scores are thousands of points

When you finish a game you get extra score. The faster you finish the more you get.

I still don't get it :(

I attached an image from a previous game's score along with the score HoF shows me
The screenshot is exactly after my victory and it shows a 1267 score, and for that game HoF shows me 2754

What does your ingame hall of fame score says?
It will be 2754.
The extra score for winning doesn't show up when you check your score.

Well probably that's why I don't understand it, because I always push the 'wait one more turn' so I can save the game for HoF and then just exit the game so I never see the in-game Hall of Fame

Indeed for that game the in-game HoF lists 2754.
However for a different game HoF shows me 6750 score, and in-game it's 3350 so it still doesn't match the in-game HoF

Attached the image for this too:

Btw it has nothing to do with 'not being checked yet', I have many more examples of accepted games too, the scores just don't seem to match
