Yes, I see this is not satisfactory. However, this scenario is complicated and a turn easily takes 2-3 hours (and we can't save inbetween), I can only start it, if I know I have an undisturbed evening of 2-3 hours. Which unfortunately was not the case for several days now. (Smaller games are not a problem, I can usually squeeze in 15min at some time.) Give me another chance tonight.

@Lanz - if you only have an hour available on one night, you could start your turn, then hit F1 and leave it like that overnight ... finish it off the next night. I do that a lot in my solo games.

Of course, I usually save the game before I go to bed. I haven't had any problems with crashes while doing this, but the risk would be a bit higher with the MP game.

Hi Everyone! Just a quick note to say I have gotten the save and I will complete and forward it to Bowsling Friday afternoon now that we have recovered from the snow and ice storm here in Alabama. But certainly not the electric companies along with power and light finally! But no worries...suppose to be in the 60s come this weekend!! Global warming?

Hotter in the Arctic, colder in Alabama ... here in Minnesota, it's been strange weather for the entire past year. It's not been especially hot or cold overall, but it was like a seesaw -- every couple of weeks, it would switch from feeling like "what last month's weather normally is" to "what next month's weather normally is".

I leave in a country that used to be cold in winter.
We've had a snowy-december
and this week we have had a spring weather,with sun and 15-17°C... whereas it should have been rainy-snowy with -5 or -10°C

No worries Lanz....Bowsling has already rejected my bribes twice!!!

But...I'd like to propose a request in the best interest of the game going to completion.

I suggest that if a person cannot nor expect to complete their turn within 4 days that they allow an ally to play that turn for them. Otherwise it is quite unlikely we will complete this game..ever.

Is this something as a group we can agree to do for the sake of this game?

Bowsling, if you cannot play this evening, I would suggest turning the Minor Axis over to Muzbang or Lanzelot. We all have RL issues, but going over 5 days on a regular basis is not going to work IMHO.
