HOF V3 - "From Here to Eternity"

Do you have an estimate on how long the turns will take?

Bowsling:
For a major power the average for me is 30-40 mins. per turn, except
for the first turn which can run up to 2 hours because of the time it
takes to set up production ques and fortify defensive units.
Minor powers take less time, fewer cities, fewer units.

PMed the download link to Cyc, Sully and That-Guy.

Also, need the link to download files to make pre-turn mp work, as i´m getting a missing file error, ty.

Note: The iceberg unit is fantastic.

Uh, Bowsling...

Can you please check your Gmail, or get us a new email address? Thanks.

@Eric: Can the Nature cities be conquered?

Do you guys want to use the Pre-turn?

And what about the no amphibious attacks on Antwerp
and Vladivostok until 1943 rule?

Agree on both.

Has anyone asked muzbang? He seemed to be interested in trying this again. If he takes USA and Bowsling Japan, we just set the Minors to AI. (Let's make them Emperor, so they can be of at least a little help...)

Or we can each take a MA...I don't see that as a problem??? Anyone heard from Muz lately? And can we count on Bowsling? He didn't strike me as being that interested? Now perhaps I misread that. But you all know that it takes a strong committment to see this scenario through. If he's up to that then great! Nice to get another person interested in HOF. Good idea of asking Muz Lanz...does anyone have his email?

For me there is definitely a problem: time... In this scenario a turn takes an hour for me. And with a second civ, it could easily end up as two hours. It was ok in the previous game, as we had like one turn every two weeks there... :mischief:
But with that snail-pace everyone kind of lost interest at some point and that was quite a burden on the game. If we want to make it more enjoyable this time, we ought to make sure we have a decent pace. And I can't guarantee that with two difficult civs to play. I think it's better live with the "crutches" of having two AI in the game.

But you all know that it takes a strong committment to see this scenario through.

Yep. :goodjob:
