Note: This post refers to Persians in the game civilization. I am not biased against anyone in real life just because of the fact that they are a Persian.

is this guy paranoid or been in trouble with the persian police or something??

Recently I have started playing with only a conquest as a possible victory, so there is no longer a need to hold a grudge, they will get theirs in due time.:)

It would be interested to see how many others have made this jump, MB. I do it alot because regardless of win type, it is almost impossible to win from a position of weakness - ie. for culture, domination, space race it is still really necessary to be the biggest baddest nation, so why not take the whole thing to the bitter end? On the other hand, leaving the others on can spare you the dread mop up phase.

I seem to start swearing every time I see Zulu, German, American, Persian, Aztec and Iroquis cities along my borders (got all those along my borders once, in a large pangaea map... :crazyeye:

Then it is just to focus more on military than culture, as I tend to "forget" military in the early game... :)

Oh yes i do, against all Ais, every game. i once completed a spaceship to see the movie - never again. culture wins and UN wins are fallback position. The way to win is to kill them cheatin' bastards!

 Same here Killer.:ar15: Cheater

I pretty much go for conquest victory every time. I like to build a nice big army, and then see who is the first civ to step out of line. Once they screw up by say... building a civ near me, or sending a unit remotely close to me, I start to attack. That is the way the world works, they make stuff, I kill stuff. I win. They lose. Well, HOPEFULLY that is the way the world works.

If they would forgive me 200o years later, maybe I would forgive them, but for now, since they never forgive me, why should I not hold a grudge against all of them?

I really hate the Civs I'm not able to eradicate fast, turning a huge military opeation into an endless war. I usually wait until the Modern Age, then I wipe out everyone. There can be only one! :rocket:

i really hate some irl civs... but, in terms of civ3, i hate those civs that squeezes in a city on my half-colonized island. grr... :jump:
