Hotseat Bugs

I have been playing a lot of hotseat with myself, and there are so many annoying bugs that don't exist in Singleplayer (or regular Multiplayer for that matter). I would like to list some of them and see if anybody can help find solutions. People are certainly welcome to post their own problems too and we can see what we can do.

UI
-on save load, some resource icons disappear and never return (including future loads)
-floating numbers and events with mini-map flashing from the previous turn appear at the start of the next player's turn
-many players are not notified about honor discovering new barb camps because they occur 'on the barb turn' and thus only appear on player 1's turn
-the quick tech bar in the top-left always shows player 1 (or the loading player)'s unique stuff. Never shows your own. (though the tech tree is still correct)
-the location of the previous tech tree view is saved for all players, so players can find out where opponents are in the tech tree by checking the tree before altering the view themselves (which gives away their progress)
-while a deal is proposed, neither party can propose a deal to anybody else. This may be intentional, but sometimes it glitches and prevents ALL players from offering deals
-no chat log. I guess it is assumed that players can physically chat or include a message in their email if PBEM. Still annoying (it would be nice to record thoughts for each player when I play by myself)
-names cannot be changed once in-game (though you can't in normal multiplay either), meaning that in a large self-hotseat game, I always forget who is who (as I go all-random and don't change names from player1, player2, etc.)

This is all I can think of for now. And they are all UI...
 
I just remembered another bug.

When you hit 'end turn' and a worker stops because he's threatened, you only get one action (for 1 worker total, not per worker) before the next turn. By that I mean if you move him exactly 1 hex, though he may have additional movement, the game moves on anyway.
 
Nobody has anything to say at all? Are these bugs just my game, or do they have something to do with files getting screwed up? (cache not clearing or something)

This isn't hotseat-specific, it happens in singleplayer too.

Really? I've never had it happen in SP, I always get to move and work and/or move multiple endangered workers.
 
I have something like this happen pretty commonly on singleplayer.A worker is doing something and when I end the turn, it stops and the worker wants an order.I just tell him what to do, then the turn ends automatically.

yah, i've seen it in single-player - it will only allow you one action if you've already hit 'next turn,' if 'next turn' wasn't hit then you can play out the full turn with them
