How can I play with my friend between Switch and PC

Do I have to link on both devices the 2K Account?
Do I have to install some extension packs or deactivate some packs/mods?
Which Multiplayer mode do I have to choose?

I sometimes play my own game on both PC and Switch. The save files are compatible (assuming same DLC / Mods exists on each) by using the "Cloud Save" feature. It is only me, so I cannot answer if both of you need to be connected to the same 2K Account.

But you can't play for example a “Play by Cloud Game” or “Internet Game” between the two systems?
