How diverse is civ6?

If you are going to have a Southwest US tribe the Comanche and Comancheria are the best option.
I'd consider them a Plains tribe, more than a Southwest one. However if we did get another Plains tribe the Comanche would be my first pick, and not blobbed into the Shoshone.

Navajo can be a Southwest one?
Yes.

Yeah, the Navajo and Pueblo are the big ticket southwest people (though pueblo we know to be a no-go). Most of the Apache groups (which could include the Navajo) too.

Geronimo would be a big personality leader for the Apache, however I feel the Navajo would be easier to make into a civ. I wouldn't necessarily want to blob them together even if they were somewhat related.

Damn it, please stop it with the upside-down maps, it's driving me up my walls. :p
Is the same map, I just put some more civs.

But is good to train our brains to see the world by south perspective. I would like a Civ world map as that.

It does no good when the south is north and the north is south. :crazyeye:

Being from one of the lands down under I can assure you the upside down map messes with my head as much as any one else's lol. The issue some people have with any standard map that has the northern hemisphere at the top and the southern hemisphere at the bottom is, I think, slightly off. Who is to say that being at the top of a map is more valuable than being at the bottom of it!? :mischief:

I'm pretty sure Australians have the same maps as we do. :P

Better than a map, we can use this chart to discuss diversity in this game.
There is 51 leaders and almost 70% are caucasian
25,5% are germanic
Helenics are the same amount of Native Americans or Black

What do you think? This game made his duty to be diverse or this game is obvious Eurocentric-biased?
Do you think Civ 7 will better in diversity or the diversity the game is a reflection of ethinic of players and should still un-simetric forever?

...Bloody hell, not this chart again. Can we please not discuss this chart by virtue of its many inaccuracies and the general disapproval of it during the time you made a thread about this? :p

What a terribly shallow view of race and diversity.

Like I said before Tamar is the only Caucasian leader in the game.

I would argue that Civ 6 is definitely one of the most diverse Cvilization games there is, if not even more than Civ 5.

if we look for native americans and black africans, I would argue civ 6 isn't better than civ 5 in diversity.

Yes, it does, in terms of "Black African" Civilizations. In Civ 5, we had: the Songhai, the Zulu, Ethiopia, and Morocco. In Civ 6, we had Mali, Kongo, Nubia, Ethiopia, and Zulu.

One is always free to make a persuasive case to consider an empire that isn't well known in the mainstream (for example, Byzantium, which is not very well known in the West outside of their role in the crusades).

Suggesting Bob Marley as a leader of a civ? Not very persuasive.
