How do decrease "End Game" turn waits?

Disable barbarians... I got fast turn times even on 180x94 maps. And I as long as there's no "sleep/sentry" command in the game, I dont miss barbarians....
 
I tested strategic view and it reduced my turn times by about 25%. However, you will miss the wonder animations if you do this. And it's annoying to keep switching back and forth.
 
Turning off that AI logging stuff might be a terrible idea if that's what the AI uses to make future decisions. You'd be making the stupid AI even stupider.

And no, the AI doesn't move its units one by one, it moves them all simultaneously. Calculating the AI's decisions and updating the game state is what takes time. It's likely not very well optimized. Keep in mind that if Firaxis listens to all the complaints and improves the AI, turn times will likely only get longer.

First of all you are not the OP. Secondly i reply to OPs question asking what components does he need to upgrade to decrease turn time, which would be his(or anyone's) <snip> AMD CPU. What the <snip>.

The logging does not effect the AI. It is just log the data, which I assmuse this data goes to Firaxis at some point to so they can have alot more data for further fixes
