How do i put units to start aboard a ship ?

I searched for this, but couldn't find any info, so:

How do i put units on map to start aboard a ship ?

When i simply put them on the same sea space as the ship, they disappear


This is probably the last thing i need to fix for my scenario, so... hope you can help me with this small problem

I have been completely unable to place planes on carriers or missiles in subs or cruisers using world builder. When I asked this some time ago, no one had an answer. It is a frustrating oversight.

You can place embarked units on water tiles, but I think this is not what you meant.

In WorldBuilder you can set the units to be "Embarked". Just edit the unit and you should see "Start Embarked" or something like that.
