How do you become a MOD?

I was just wondering how you beomce a Moderator of this here forum? It obviuosly doesn't take any specific skills or a great deal of intelligence......

Considering this I think I would be a great canditate! I'm always here and am a responsible kind of guy.....

Most of the MODS have been here for a LONG time but this doesn't necessarily make you a MOD, the Civ3 HOF Mod is quite New.

Posts don't seem to matter as Phillipe & Darkshade have thousands of posts.

Even expertise doesn't matter as Starlifter would have been made a mod ages ago..........

I don't know I been waiting for my Modship but I guess I must be doing something wrong
Or else I would of been a Mod by now
So I know how NOT TO BECOME A MOD and thats about it.

Anyway, being a Mod doesn't look like hard work but having to trail through post after post would get a bit repetitive....

And im not insane I am just public spirited!

This job isn't fun guys, it's a lot of hassle becasue some people like to bust chops.

Sometimes it's fun, mostly it's boring.

Sooo I love being the bad guy life is so much more Interesting when you have some one to hate you
Its even more Interesting if the guy who hates you can easily kick your *** or beat you up.
What can I say I love to be hated. so thats one reason why I belive that I would be perfect for being a Mod.
Of course I would follow the Rules and try and set an example for other posters but it would actually be an added bonus if I got yelled at and Insulted. I think it can be quite funny sometimes.

Only TF appoints mods anyhow, so don't listen to that AofA

I used to be a Mod. I was a HelpOp in an IRC Channel, it's WORSE than being a moderator in a forum, because all the lamers messaged me saying "Kill me *****" blah blah blah blah.
I was even bugged a few times for being a Jewish HelpOp.

Ahhh, those times

But a week after I got my HelpOp I quit IRC.

Yeah, I think a new batch of MODS is needed to shake the place up a bit, I mean I haven't seen anything of some mods for days.
