How do you feel about UN resolutions?

One of the thigns I really missed from the ( 3rd? ) civilization game is the ability to vote on things via the United Nations. I would really love for them to add this into the game, however it would probably require a reworking of the current diplomatic victory ( Which I think needs to happen anyway... )

What do you think?

I'd like them back. The UN feels so lame without them.....even though I was usually the guy who always defied everything anyway because I like my nukes and don't like emancipation.

Yeah, UN resolutions were a nice feature. I'm not sure if diplomacy really needs any more complicated factors at the moment, though. And given that the UN is specifically built for diplomatic victory, I don't there would ever be a game in which you'd not go for that victory resolution.

I think this would require a rework of diplomatic victory in its entirety.
