Pretty much the whole question. I've been trying to list an item for sale, and I need a large pic to really sell it. And I can't figure out how to. They say that their "supersize" option is no longer available.

I just host them myself and hotlink 'em in the description. Imageshack probably works as well.

Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question. How do you make a large picture show on eBay? I've tried over and over again to get the code to work. What, specifically, do I need to do?

What are you doing that isn't working? :confused: I've never had any problems with it, so I can't imagine what's going wrong. Upload the image to whereever you're going to keep it, and <img src="http://whereeveryourekeepingit"> in your description. That's all there is to it. :dunno:

i'll try. but i tried all the different html codes imageshack generates in the description area and none of them displayed a pic.

That's probably the problem! Imageshack is a brat. Don't use their HTML, they're going to send you through thumbnails and crap. Get the "direct link", it'll look something like

http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/5690/10chair1ab8.gif

and put it inside a plain <img> tag.

To this effect:

<img src="http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/5690/10chair1ab8.gif">

except, of course, with your image address instead of chairs.

I've put 1000s, maybe a few 10s of 1000s, of pictures on forums. And edits 100s of other people's posts when they got their pictures posted wrong. And it's never been this difficult. :wallbash:

I copied everything that you said and I still do not have pics showing.

I can't think of anything that would be going wrong. :undecide: Just use links? :dunno:

Thanks for your help. I don't understand what's going on. I've edited the thing a couple dozen times at this point.
