ok, so on a scale of 1 to 5, how are you going to rate Civ 5?
1/5: horribly terrible... yawn, going back to stacking...
2/5: simply forgettable... this will fill in before activision comes out with ctp3...
3/5: ok, there's a lotta new stuff, but this is civ alright... a good sid meier game...
4/5: nice! i'll play it even if the world doesn't.
5/5: excellent! no more stacking from now on... be playing civ 5 forever...

this thread is for your reviews and ratings only.
apart from the forum rules, this rule to also applies:
- do not explicitly reply other people's ratings. if you happen to hate civ 5, don't go and say bad words to those who think it's awesome.

Moderator Action: Please don't make consecutive posts, go back and edit your first post if needed, and while I understand why you want your own rules on the thread, users are not allowed to create their own rules for their own threads. :)

3/5 I was hoping that they would build upon the depth of Civ 4, but rather they moved in the opposite direction.

i wanted more sliders and fidilybits to play with and manage, not less.

I'm going back to Europa Universalis III. New expansion out soon. Yay!

4/5 - am civ veteran since 1991. if they will improve AI and add few things it will be the best civ ever....

2.5 out of 5 just not impressed. It could have been a contender...it just does not feel like Civilization. Let's get Firaxis a "do over".

Id say a 2 out of 5. The reason it isnt a 1 because with mods and patches there may be some potential.

I just dont enjoy the game. Really disappointed.

2.5/5 - The game is clearly not yet finished, as is reflected in both the buggyness and imbalance. I expect my score to go up once they actually complete the game in the coming months through patching.

2/5. Some good ideas spoiled by terrible interface, stupid AI and oversimplification.

4/5 ...

4/5

will be a perfect 5 when the patch in some ai improvements, bug fixes, and fix a few balance issues. but I love the core gameplay changes.

2/5 Some good changes, but at the cost of just about everything that made a Civ game, a Civ game. I would have rather had Civ 5 not come out or called it something else like Civ:Rev 2.

4/5

Been playing since Civ II in '96.

I would give it a 5/5 if it werent for the bugs that it has.

Hmm this is hard I'm gonna give it a 4/5 I would give it a 5/5 but, the multiplayer is a bit disappointing.
