How do you rate Civ 5?

I'll give it a 3.5/5 simply because even with horrible AI it's very fun to play for a while. Once they fix the AI it's a sure 5/5.

interface could be better. torroid world is missing from this version. I will have to play it a bit more. In some ways it feels like what was done to railroad tycoon . The newest version of that game (railroads) lost a lot of what made that series interesting and fun to play.

Solid 2 according to your scale... but there seems to be a big jump between 2/5 "simply forgettable" and 3/5 "a good Sid Meier game", epecially since most Sid Meier games are great.

It's a good game with some fairly serious problems.

If they can fix those problems then I'll raise my score.

It has the potential to get up to 4.5 but that'll take a lot of time.
