I've seen quite a few members that are somewhat new to this site, including myself, that someone has said "you should join a succession game to better your skills" I checked this sites info on SG's, and came to the conclusion that they are mostly long time players in heavily modded scenarios, and mostly played at Deity level. There is very little for Regent-Monarch-Emperor newbies to get a foot in the door. Also, most of the SG rosters are full. Anyone in the SG scene that has any advice, etc., I'd like to get something going.

You just um, make one. Start a thread in the Succession Game forum, maybe post in the looking for players thread, and wait.

When I was active on the SG front, games filled in a day or two.

I think an emp SG training game started within the last week. Post in it to see if they can squeeze you in or as Tomoyo said, start one.

If you're wanting to start your own game, first decide what sort of game you want to play. Write up a description, post it in the registry and start a thread that contains the opening save. Or you could PM some of the other "Regent-Monarch-Emperor" players who've been told that they should join an SG and see if they want in, or see what sort of game they'd want to play.

Edit: And yes, Gma02 - "First Come, First Severed" just started. Roster's full, but lurkers are welcome.

Another suggestion for posting your own game. In additional to describing what type of game you have in mind, you can also say something like, "Trainer needed" and hope that one of the experienced players will volunteer.

Whether or not you have an official trainer, those of us who play SG's frequently lurk in the other games, and you'll probably get lots of helpful suggestions if you make it clear that it's needed and welcome. :)
